Roller Coaster Stuck in Mid-Loop in Oklahoma City

"It’s like being shot from a cannon as you rocket through this high-speed steel looping coaster"

Emergency crews rescued over a dozen people stuck on roller coaster cars Thursday on the track of the Silver Bullet ride at Frontier City amusement park located outside of Oklahoma city, according to the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

Firefighter have requested additional assistance to get passengers safely off the ride.

Frontier City is an amusement park located outside of Oklahoma City. The park boasts of over fifty rides and attractions including four roller coasters, water rides, and shows featuring the Wild West Gunfighters Stunt Show, according to its website.

According to Frontier City's website, the roller coaster Silver Bullet, which stands at an estimated 80 feet and can go up to a 100 feet during the ride, is described as "It’s like being shot from a cannon as you rocket through this high-speed steel looping coaster."

According to local news reports, the same roller coaster was stuck last year in July, as well.
