Trump Ramps Up Attacks on Bill Clinton

Donald Trump stepped up his attacks on Bill Clinton's past sexual misconduct, telling NBC's "Today" show Tuesday that the criticism is "fair game."

The comments came as the former president is set to campaign for his wife Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire next week. "You look at whether it's Monica Lewinsky or Paula Jones or many of them," Trump said on "Today." "That certainly will be fair game. Certainly if they play the woman's card with respect to me, that will be fair game."

Trump also reiterated a late-night tweet from a day earlier where he wrote that Bill Clinton had been "called a racist" during his wife's 2008 presidential campaign against Barack Obama. "I don't believe he is a racist if you want to know the truth, but they called him a racist," Trump said of criticism back in 2008.

A Hillary Clinton campaign spokeswoman told NBC News in a statement that the candidate "won't be bullied or distracted" by Trump's attacks against her or Bill Clinton.
