Strangers across the country are spreading Christmas cheer to a young child in North Carolina who is battling cancer.
Five-year-old Hayden Drake was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. He is in remission right now, but will need treatments for the next three years.
One thing that cheers him up is getting mail with his name on it, so his family went to social media to ask for Christmas cards made out to young Hayden.
Hayden has already received dozens of cards and his family says he does a “little happy dance” when he reads them.
