(NECN) - A group of disabled veterans are being honored in Foxboro, Mass., this Veterans Day weekend.
The veterans gathered at Gillette Stadium for a day of fun and skills training on the gridiron.
Nearly 50 disabled veterans from across New England teamed up with former Patriots players to work on various football skills and drills. They used adaptive sports techniques they learned after sustaining injuries during military service.
Among those taking part in Saturday's CVS Caremark's event were former three-time Super Bowl champions Patrick Pass and Matt Chatham.
