Police Search for 2 People in Connection to Acton, Mass. Shooting

Officials are searching for two people wanted in connection to a shooting that left one man hospitalized in Acton, Massachusetts.

The shooting was reported just before 9 p.m. Wednesday night at a home on Strawberry Hill Road, according to authorities. The victim was shot multiple times and suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the Acton District Attorney's Office.

According to the preliminary investigation, a physical altercation occurred at the scene between parties known to each other. The victim was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive, authorities said.

The District Attorney's Office said one individual involved in the altercation fled the scene. Officials say they do not believe the shooting is a result of a random incident.

Police cruisers lined the streets and K-9 units were deployed as officials investigated at the scene.
