Authorities Investigate After Swastika Found in Bathroom at Easton High School

The drawing was found on a sink in a boys bathrooms at Oliver Ames High School

Officials in a Massachusetts school district are investigating after a swastika was found inside of a high school bathroom.

Easton Superintendent Lisha Cabral said the swastika was found drawn on a sink Friday in a boys bathrooms at Oliver Ames High School.

The individual who found the drawing immediately reported it to school officials and it has since been removed.

"This type of hate speech and hateful action has no room here in our schools or in our community," Cabral said. "As a district we have been working hard this year to educate our students and foster an attitude of tolerance of all people. We will continue that effort and will not be deterred by the actions of the person who committed this act."

The incident remains under investigation by school officials and the school resource officer.
