NH Man Found Dead of Self-Inflicted Wound Apparently Killed Girlfriend, Child, Officials Say

The AG's office said there is no known threat to the public

A person of interest in an investigation into two suspicious deaths at a home in Franklin, New Hampshire on Saturday, has been found dead, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General's office.

The AG's office confirmed earlier in the day that investigators were looking for Jamie Bell, 42, in connection with the death investigation on Elkins Street.

Officials said the victims were Bell's domestic partner -- whom authorities identified as 35-year old Nicole Hughes -- and their 1-year-old daughter, Ariella Bell.

Authorities say a 5-year-old child from the woman’s previous relationship was was shot in the arm and suffered a laceration to her back. She was taken to a Massachusetts hospital to treat her non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators confirmed Saturday afternoon that Bell had also been found dead on the banks of the Merrimack River with an apparent self-inflicted cut to his neck.

The AG's office said there is no known threat to the public.
