The suspect allegedly showed a gun to the teller during the robbery

A bank robbery suspect in Revere, Massachusetts was arrested Monday after trying to make a getaway on public transportation, police said.

Revere Police said David Hattersley robbed the Bank of America location at 25 American Legion Highway just after 1:30 p.m., allegedly showing a gun to the teller during the robbery.

Hattersley then fled with an undisclosed amount of money on an MBTA bus.

He got off the bus in the area of Broadway, police said, before he was located in the yard of a residence on Warren Street. He was taken into custody without incident.
