New England

Beautiful Wednesday Across New England

A beautiful Wednesday for most of New England.

In the state of Maine, where some locations have received a months worth of rain since Monday, that being about 4 inches near Bangor, clouds that are in here this morning should lift out this afternoon.

High pressure to our south generates a breeze from the west pushing the temperature into the more seasonable 60s in northern New England and lower 70s south. Wind speed 10 to 15 mph as it gradually shifts from northwest to northwest, with perhaps some localized seabreeze effect.

Clear and comfortable tonight, low temperature in the 50s south, and 40s north.

The breeze picks up from the southwest tomorrow, we become more humid with sunshine for much of the day, afternoon clouds increasing especially in western and northern New England with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm late. High temperature close to 80°.

A few showers in a thunderstorm tomorrow night, followed by clearing in a little cooler Friday, much like today with sunshine and a high temperature in the 60s to low 70s.

Yet another front approaches from the west Saturday with an increasing wind from the southwest, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm north and west late, high temperature in the low 80s. Any showers and storms end overnight Saturday night followed by partly to mostly sunny Sunday, with a high back down to the 60s north and 70s south. This kind of pattern looks like it’s going to continue with up-and-down temperatures throughout our First Alert 10-Day Forecast.
