People in an academic and administrative building at the University of New Haven were evacuated as officials investigated a bomb threat Wednesday night.
A spokesperson said the university received a bomb threat for Harugari Hall via social media.
Police conducted a search of the building and nothing suspicious was found.
The building will remain closed for the remainder of the night and will reopen Thursday morning, police said.

The threat is being investigated by university police, as well as local, state and federal law enforcement partners.
