In the men’s open field, Shadrack Biwott, who came in third this year, will be joined by three-time Olympian and third fastest U.S. marathoner of all time, Dathan Ritzenhein. Four-time Olympian Abdi Abdirahman will also compete in the elite team.

As for the women’s wheelchair division, reigning champion and five-time winner, Tatyana McFadden will join Los Angeles Marathon champion Michelle Wheeler and Susannah Scaroni.

The men’s wheelchair division will include marathon champion Daniel Romanchuk, who is the first American to win the men’s wheelchair division in New York.
