Bridgeport firefighters rescued a dog from a roof over the weekend and it was the second time this summer.
Officials told DoingItLocal.com that the dog keeps going out the third-floor dormer window of the house on Scofield Avenue and climbs up to the peak of the roof but doesn’t like coming down.
The Bridgeport Fire Department posted a photo of the dog on the roof on Twitter.
We've heard of "cat on a hot tin roof"... but this #canine resident on Scofield Ave has a thing for heights or being #rescued by #BFD #bridgeport #firefighters#rescuedog #rescuethedog pic.twitter.com/xR2D0CAugL

In July, they also responded to get the dog down.
Officials said they are concerned about the animal. It was much hotter on that day in July and the dog burned his paws.
