Brockton Police Probe Early Morning Shooting

Victim's injury was described as non-life threatening

Brockton police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the incident happened at 6:09 a.m. during a gathering at Ming Motor city at 970 Montello St. Police responded to the area on a report of a shooting. Several vehicles had left the area prior to arrival and police located the injured man inside the business. He had a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Police said the man was awake and alert. He spoke to investigators before he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation, according to Brockton police.
