Family of Cats Rescued From Walls of Newton Home

Firefighters rescued a family of cats that became stuck in a wall Friday in Newton, Massachusetts.

A resident reported her adult cat and her 2-day-old kittens were inside the walls of her home. The Newton Fire Department sent a ladder and a rescue truck to help the woman's feline friends.

Crews opened up the ceiling to get the pets safely out of the crawlspace.

"We rescue residents big or small, human or animal," the fire department tweeted.
