The U.S. Coast Guard is asking for the public's help for any information related to two kayaks found drifting in the waters in separate areas off two Massachusetts coastal towns.
Crews at Station Point Allerton responded to the floating kayak about two miles east of Cohasset shortly after 8a.m. on Saturday. Responders were looking for a possible person in distress, but found the kayak unattended.
In a separate incident, crews at Station Scituate recovered an unattended yellow Pelican kayak shortly before 8a.m. in the Duxbury Harbor area.
