Comcast Opens Free WiFi Hotspots for Those Impacted by Cape Cod Tornado

To help residents and emergency personnel stay connected in the wake of Tuesday's tornado on Cape Cod, Comcast has opened up access to thousands of Xfinity WiFi hotspots in in Chatham, Dennis, Harwich, Hyannis, Hyannisport, Sandwich and Yarmouth.

The hotspots will be available to anyone who needs them, including non-Xfinity customers, for free. The hotspots will remain open until Wednesday, July 31.

For a map of the Xfinity WiFi hotspots, residents can visit https://comca.st/2NIqR4I and enter their zip code.

Once in range of a hotspot, select the "xfinitywifi" network name in the list of available hotspots and then launch a browser. Xfinity customers can sign in with their usernames and passwords and will automatically be connected to Xfinity WiFi hotspots in the future.

Non-Xfinity customers should visit the "Not an Xfinity Internet Customer" section on the sign-in page to get started. Non-customers will be able to renew their complimentary sessions every two hours while the hotspots are available.
