The Super Bowl may be in Atlanta, but it was in Massachusetts that the lights went out for some in Patriots Nation.

Police in Concord announced after 7:30 p.m. that a widespread power outage was impacting the central and eastern parts of the town.

The announcement came while the Patriots and Rams were in the second quarter of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.

Officials said the Concord Municipal Light Plant was working to address the problem.

It's unclear when electricity will be restored.
