Weekend Turns Brighter

Gusty wind continues into Sunday

A big split is the focus of the forecast across New England on Saturday. Beautiful sunshine dominates in northern New England, with lots of clouds in southern New England. A few showers continue to scrape by the Cape and Islands as well.

A gusty northeasterly wind will keep temperatures locked in the 60s and 70s during the day.

Late in the afternoon more sun will develop, even around Boston where clouds hold tough most of the day.

That clearing trend continues tonight as lows slip into the 40s and 50s in northern New England, with 50s and 60s farther south.

Sunday is a beauty, with abundant sunshine for all and highs in the 70s and 80s. The wind out of the northeast will still be gusty. Keep that in mind if you’re headed to the beach or out on the water. The seas will still be kicking up.

Monday also looks quite nice, aside from a few afternoon showers or storms in northern and western New England.

Humidity stays low through mid-week. At that point, as dew points rise so will temperatures and the risk of a couple pop up showers and storms.
