Cool End to the Work Week; Humidity Increases Through Weekend

Temperatures will continue to stay below normal as we wrap up the work week. This evening we will stay mostly clear with a stray shower before sunset across higher terrain. Fog develops again tonight, and the outer Cape will continue to see the fog bank meander along the coastline. Lows drop into the 50s and low 60s.

The morning fog may lock in our cloud cover for the first half of the day. By afternoon, most areas should see some sun. Highs in the upper 60s possible along the coast and where the clouds hang tough, low 70s inland to mid 70s with areas that see more sunshine.

Thursday: Fair and pleasant. Highs in the 70s. Overnight Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Lows around 60. Friday: Morning clouds to fair sky. Highs in the 70s.

The humidity increases through the weekend and will remain high to begin next week. Highs will be in the upper 70s on Saturday, while Sunday will be in the mid to upper 80s. Both days we have a chance for scattered showers and storms away from the coastline.

Monday and Tuesday will be scorching with summer heat in full force and highs in the low 90s.

Scattered storms will be likely Monday, through Wednesday as a system moves through. We will see cooler temperatures to the mid and low 80s by the end of the 10-day forecast.
