Crash Leaves 2 in Serious Condition in Dudley

Both drivers involved in the head-on collision were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries

Two people are in the hospital with serious injuries following a Sunday morning crash in Dudley.

According to police, they responded to a two car, head-on crash on Southbridge Road near the intersection of Mill Road just after 9 a.m. Sunday.

The first vehicle was a 2006 Ford Fusion operated by a 22-year-old man from Southbridge. The second was a 2010 Nissan Rouge operated by a 68-year-old man from Woodstock, Connecticut.

Both were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries. They were the sole occupants of their cars, police said.

The victims' names are being withheld at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
