A man was critically injured when a pizza delivery driver hit the lawnmower he was riding on in Middleton, Massachusetts, authorities said.
The crash happened on Village Road around 5:15 p.m. Thursday. It left the lawnmower in pieces, and a Honda Civic upside down with one of its tires off its axis.
The man on the lawnmower was airlifted to Beth Israel Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Civic was hospitalized, but is expected to be OK.
Crews spent more than four hours on the scene after the crash.
No charges have been filed against the Civic's driver.
