House Democrats are accusing Republicans of proposing an "unfair" framework for a special select committee that would investigate the 2012 attack on a U.S. embassy in Benghazi, NBC News reported. Some Democrats even suggested others in their party ignore the panel entirely. Republicans have proposed a committee of seven Republicans and five Democrats and have only given subpoena authority to the committee's chairman, Rep. Trey Gowdy, who is a Republican.
