Fans Ready to Watch Patriots Kick Off Playoffs Against Chargers

Patriots fans at Gillette Stadium Friday night said you can "never doubt" Tom Brady in the postseason.

The field is already painted ahead of the Patriots' AFC Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

"I'm a little nervous, but I think they'll be OK," said one fan.

"Can't bring LA to Foxboro in the postseason with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and expect them to win, it's just not happening," said Angus Watt of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Ashley Gregory and her husband came from Morgantown, West Virginia, for the game.

"We've actually been traveling all day," she said Friday.

Temperatures Sunday will be in the frigid 20s, something fans think will work to the home team's advantage.

Legendary Patriots running back Kevin Faulk, who won three Super Bowls and spent his entire 13-year career in New England, was browsing the pro shop Friday.

"Should be a good game. Two teams that know what's at stake," Faulk said. "It's not like two teams that have never been in this situation before, they know what's at stake. Got to play some of the best football at this time."

Kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
