Authorities in Taunton, Massachusetts are investigating a fatal car crash which occurred on Route 140 on Friday night.
Around 9:15 p.m., a 33-year-old woman from Plymouth was traveling on the northbound side of Route 140 in a GMC Envoy when she collided with a Chrysler that was turning left to enter the ramp for Route 24 northbound.
The passenger in the Chrysler, a 21-year-old Nicole Dondero, of Lakeville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while the driver, a 22-year-old man from Acushnet, was transported to Morton Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the GMC, as well as her passenger, a 35-year-old male from Plymouth, were transported to Morton Hospital with minor injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
