Firefighters battled a 4-alarm blaze in Newburyport, Massachusetts on Monday afternoon.

The fire was first reported around 2:30 p.m. at 155 High St., fire officials said. Upon arrival, they found heavy fire showing on the second floor of the wood-frame structure. The blaze engulfed the second and third floors of the building, partially extending to an adjoining building at 157 High St. before it was brought under control around 4:30 p.m.
