Frosty Night Ahead of Cool Weekend

Temperatures will dip into the 30s for many across New England tonight, resulting in frosty spots away from the coast and outside of the big cities where temperatures will be in the 40s overnight.

If you live in the suburbs just outside of Boston, or anywhere north and west of there, protect any sensitive plants that you still have outside.

It will stay breezy as well, but winds will begin to die down by morning.

Saturday will be the pick of the weekend with lots of sunshine and highs in the 50s to near 60.

Sunday brings warmer air, with highs in the 60s, but more clouds and even a few late day spotty showers in far Northern and western New England.

Ahead of a cold front, Monday will pop into the 70s. As the front comes in during the day, and into Tuesday, expect a band of moderate to heavy rain.

We'll dry out and cool off again behind the front for the middle of next week.
