Gorgeous End to Weekend for Most of New England

A gorgeous end to the weekend with lots of sun and low humidity, for the exception of Maine, where clouds and spot showers will linger until early evening.

Highs today will be in the 70s to around 80 degrees. Tonight won’t be as cool or crisp, especially over Southern New England because the wind will be out of the southwest, so it will be a bit more humid along the South Coast, Cape and Islands.

Temperatures and humidity will be on the rise Monday, with more 80s and clouds moving in. A front will drop from Canada, triggering isolated showers into Northern New England during the afternoon and evening.

The front will stall over Southern New England on Tuesday, and it will give way for an area of low pressure to ride along the stationary boundary-which means showers and storms are likely with rainfall totals between 1-2 inches.

This area of low pressure pulls away quickly, so our weather begins to improve Wednesday with clouds decreasing throughout the day and highs in the 70s.

By Thursday, we get another round of pop-up showers especially in the interior. As we look towards next weekend, the pattern doesn’t change much. Another great weekend with a few spot showers possible on Saturday.
