Connecticut’s COVID-19 positivity rate is now 6.08% and 81 more people have died from the virus over the weekend.
The state’s coronavirus death toll is now 5,444.
Hospitalizations also increased by 33 since Friday. There are now 1,243 people in Connecticut hospitals with the virus.
Of nearly 120,000 COVID tests performed, 7,231 came back positive. The state’s rolling 7-day positivity rate average is 6.8%.
A total of 3.8 million coronavirus tests have been administered in the state since the virus emerged in March. Of that number, just shy of 154,000 total tests have come back positive.
Connecticut's coronavirus infection rate has recently risen to some of the highest numbers in months. Friday's test positivity rate was 7%.

Vaccine Deliveries This Week
Governor Ned Lamont released a breakdown of how many vaccinations hospitals across Connecticut have received this week.
Of 31,200 COVID vaccines distributed, 15,600 were given to hospitals for health care workers and CVS and Walgreens received 15,600 for nursing home faculty and residents.

- Waterbury Hospital: 975
- Danbury Hospital: 1,950
- Stamford Hospital: 975
- St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center: 1,950
- Bristol Hospital: 975
- Griffin Health: 975
- Hartford Hospital: 1,950
- CT Children's Medical Center: 975
- Middlesex Hospital: 975
- Yale New Haven Hospital: 1,950
- Manchester Hospital: 975
Other Connecticut hospitals not mentioned above will receive the vaccine next week, according to Chief Operating Officer Josh Geballe.
Over 98,000 vaccines are expected to be distributed in the state next week.
Federally qualified health centers, local health departments and pharmacies will start receiving vaccines next week.
