Heavy overnight rain continues to lift out of New England, as sunshine works in on a gusty breeze today.
Temperatures will be warmest during the morning, in the 40s to near 50, before dropping into the 40s and 30s with time. A gusty wind will bring in that cooler air, and sunshine, as we work through the day.
At times expect gusts to reach 40 MPH, so there may be a few isolated power outages.

Because the wind is coming from the west, a few upslope mountain snow showers will persist in Northern New England.
Veterans Day will start quite chilly, with lows in the 20s for many, and it will stay cool by afternoon. Highs reach the 30s and 40s. We’ll have plenty of sunshine through the day.
Monday will be a touch less cool as winds turn out of the west-southwest, but we’ll still be mainly in the 40s. Clouds will slowly increase during the day.
Heavy rain returns on Tuesday, with some wintry mix or snow in the mountains of Northern New England.
Behind that system much cooler air settles in for the middle and end of the upcoming week. Highs will only be in the 30s and 40s.
