Interstate 495 was temporarily shut down in both directions in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, following a serious accident involving a motorcycle on Monday afternoon.
Two people were seriously injured in the crash, according to state police. A medical helicopter landed at the scene.
The accident scene was located just north of Route 3.
All lanes reopened around 5 p.m.
