Incoming Storm to Bring Snow to Region, Leave Icy Spots

Wednesday will be cold and sunny with high temperatures (close to average) in the low 30s.

As for Wednesday night, a weak system will move through the region. Precipitation will begin after midnight for most and it could fall in the form of snow (at least to start). Snowfall totals will be meager, around an inch, but there could be some icy spots for the Thursday morning commute.

Friday is sunny and warmer with high temperatures in the mid-40s. After a pleasant Friday, temperatures stay in the 40s for the weekend with another storm system moving into the region. It should be warm enough to support mainly rain.

It appears, colder and unsettled weather will kick off the first full week of 2019. There are chances for some snow between Monday and Wednesday, at this point, it’s too early to discuss any accumulations.
