Man Dies From Injuries 35 Years After Being Struck by Car

A Pennsylvania man died from the injuries he suffered during a car accident over three decades ago, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.

James Koplik, 53, of Bethlehem, was struck by a vehicle approximately 35 years ago in New York State. Koplik died at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg on Saturday at 11:19 a.m. from complications of the injuries he received from the crash, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. The manner of death was ruled an accident.

Officials have not revealed the specific injuries he suffered or where he was struck in New York.
