Two of the world’s greatest rock bands are headed to Fenway Park this summer as part of their newly announced North American tour.
Journey and Def Leppard will play Fenway Park on Saturday, Aug. 11.
The date is part of a 58-city tour of both stadium and arena concerts.

According to a press release, the bands will share in closing out the shows — half by Journey and half by Def Leppard.
The tour, promoted by Live Nation, kicks off May 21 in Hartford, Connecticut, at the XL Center and will feature complete sets and all-new production from both bands, and an arsenal of their hits such as "Pour Some Sugar on Me," "Lights," "Photograph," "Don’t Stop Believin'," "Rock of Ages" and "Faithfully."
Tickets for the Fenway Park show go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at RedSox.com/JourneyDefLeppard.
