Julian Edelman Returns to Patriots Practice Before Week 15 Game

Patriots WR Julian Edelman returns to practice ahead of game vs. Dolphins originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

The New England Patriots had a welcome addition at practice Wednesday with the return of Julian Edelman.

The 34-year-old wide receiver had a knee procedure done in late October and was placed on injured reserve Oct. 31

Edelman hasn't played for the Patriots since the team's Week 7 matchup versus the San Francisco 49ers.

Perry: Can Pats take any lessons from Dolphins' rebuild?

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said earlier Wednesday that Edelman's status was considered "day-to-day."

The veteran wideout, if healthy enough to play, could return to action as soon as Sunday's Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Edelman has tallied 21 receptions for 315 yards on 39 targets in six games for the Patriots this season. The Patriots' passing attack has struggled in his absence and enters Sunday ranked last in touchdown passes, 29th in passing yards and 29th in QB rating.
