Police arrested a Westport man who is accused of threatening on Facebook to bury a police officer alive.
Police officers responded to Westport Public Library on Sept. 10 after someone found a threatening message on a computer screen and spoke with staff, as well as a patron. The patron reported trying to log onto Facebook on a public computer and seeing a post on the page of 58-year-old Lawrence Kozar, of Westport.
Police said Kozar did not log out of his Facebook account and the other patron noticed a threatening post on his page that indicated that he would bury a Westport Officer alive.
