American Airlines announced around noon that all shuttle service between Boston, Laguardia, and Washington, D.C. was canceled.

Airlines like Delta, Southwest, JetBlue and American Airlines were allowing travelers to change their Friday and Saturday flights at key airports across the Northeast with no change fees.

Passengers scheduled to travel should check with their airline first as well as for any potential rebooking options before heading to the airport.

The nor'easter slamming into the region is expected to bring torrential downpours, coastal flooding, high winds and snow.
