MBTA Red Line Service Partially Suspended Over Police Activity

Service on MBTA Red Line trains was partially suspended due to police activity at Andrew Station Friday, the agency said.

Shuttle buses replaced trains between Park Street and JFK/UMass for about an hour starting about 12:30 p.m.

Regular service resumed after delays of up to 15 minutes by 1:40 p.m.

The MBTA didn't say what prompted the police activity.
