A New Hampshire man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly drove drunk and crashed his car with his two young boys in the backseat.

Emergency services responded to a single car crash on Mammoth Road in Pelham, New Hampshire, around 8 p.m. Tuesday. Pelham police officers arrived to find a maroon 2005 GMC Envoy off the side of the road, crashed into a telephone pole.

The driver, Antonio DiRocco, 26, had been driving north when he lost control of his car and traveled across the other lane of traffic, finally stopping when he hit a telephone pole, according to Pelham police. The car had substantial front end damage and the pole had split in two.

The Pelham native had his two sons, a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old, in the backseat when he crashed, police said. The children were in car seats and suffered non-life threatening injuries, though airbags were deployed throughout the vehicle.

The children were taken to Lowell General Hospital and DiRocco was arrested on the scene. He was charged with driving under the influence, aggravated DUI, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless operation, yellow line violation, criminal mischief and open container.

DiRocco will appear before a judge on Feb. 11 at the 10th Circuit District Court in Salem. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
