Police in two states are searching for an "armed and dangerous" man suspected of shooting and killing two people in New Hampshire near the Vermont border.
New Hampshire State Police said they are looking for Derrick Shippee, 28, in connection with the murders of 29-year-old Neal Bolster and 19-year-old Aaliyah Jacobs in Hinsdale.
The investigation began when police in Hinsdale conducted a welfare check at 240 Plain Road and found the bodies of Bolster and Jacobs inside.
Autopsies performed Friday by the medical examiner determined that both victims died of gunshot wounds and their manner of death was homicide.
Arrest warrants have been issued charging Shippee with two counts of second degree murder but his whereabouts are currently unknown.
He is described as 5'11" tall, 220 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Shippee may be in possession of a handgun, so anyone who encounters him is urged not to approach him and to instead call police immediately. Police said he should be considered "armed and dangerous."

Vermont State Police said they are also assisting New Hampshire authorities, as Shippee has ties to southern Vermont.
A vehicle in which he was believed to have been traveling was located Thursday night on Sak Road in Vernon, Vermont, where the Shippee family owns property.
