New Haven police are investigating two stabbings early Friday morning.
The first one happened just before 2 a.m. on Brownell Street, between Edgewood Avenue and Maple Street.
Police said the victim is a 26-year-old man and his injury is not life-threatening.

The victim knows the person who stabbed him and police said the incident appears to be isolated.
The second stabbing was around an hour later on Park Street.
Police said the assailant confronted a 26-year-old man and the victim was stabbed in the head and face. His injuries are not life-threatening.
The investigations are ongoing.
