New Bakeries, Sushi Spots, Breweries Coming to the Boston-Area

Somerville Bread Company is moving from its current location on Medford Street in the Winter Hill area of the city to a new larger space near Union Square. The expansion will allow the company to offer more products and increase their bread-making classes. No moving date has been given yet. The current address of the company is 415B Medford Street in Somerville.
Sushi Factory is planning to open in Allston at the location of the former Kirin Teppanyaki & Wok restaurant on Brighton Ave. No date has been set for the opening. The location will be 140 Brighton Ave in Allston.

The Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co. will take over the space formerly occupied by Tequila Rain on Lansdowne Street. The brewery will be located right next to iconic Fenway Park and will feature beer that is brewed on site along with fried snacks and sandwiches. The brewery will also have shuffleboard and pool tables. The brewery is set to open later this summer. The address will be 3 Lansdowne Street, Boston.
Momi Nomni plans to open a new spot in Cambridge's Inman Square. The restaurant will take over the space where WuBurger Gourmet formerly resided. The address will be 1128 Cambridge Street, Cambridge.
Comella's has purchased a new spot in Winchester, the site of the former Pizza Express. The restaurant chain currently has other locations in Bedford, Belmont, Chestnut Hill, Concord, Hingham, Marblehead, Melrose, Natick, Needham, Wellesley, West Newton, West Roxbury, and Westwood.The new location is set to open sometime in late January or early February. The new location would be 529 Main Street in Wincester.
Sintra in South Braintree will close for good during the last weekend of June. The restaurant known for its Mediterranean fare opened about 13 years ago. There is no reason listed for the closure. The restaurant was located at 906 Washington Street in South Braintree.
Tatte Bakery & Cafe
The popular Tatte Bakery & Cafe plans to open another location in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. Currently there are other locations in Beacon Hill, Cambridge's Kendall Square, Harvard Square, and Brookline. The new location will be located between Arlington Street and Berkeley Street and may include a 30-seat patio. The address for the new location will be 399 Boylston Street, Boston.
Mooncusser Fish House is planning to open in Back Bay in July. The menu will feature seafood as well as a five-course tasting menu. The restaurant will be located at 304 Stuart Street in Boston.
A former Somerville tavern is being rebranded. The On the Hill Tavern in Magoun Square is being rebranded as The Dark House Public House. The address will be 499 Broadway in Somerville.
East Boston's Ecco is closing for five weeks on June 29 for renovations. The restaurant is known for its American food and cocktails. The restaurant is located at 107 Porter Street in East Boston.

Golden Garden in Belmont is not closing! The restaurant will remain open after it was previously announced it would shut down. The restaurant is located at 63 Concord Avenue, Belmont.
