Mass. Teen Charged in NH With Sexually Assaulting Minor Twice on Same Day

Eighteen-year-old Eliezer Tuttle of North Andover, Massachusetts, is facing multiple sexual assault charges in Salem, New Hampshire

A Massachusetts teenager accused of sexually assaulting a minor is facing charges in New Hampshire, authorities announced Thursday.

Police in Salem, New Hampshire, arrested 18-year-old Eliezer Tuttle of North Andover on March 8. He is charged in connection with two assaults that allegedly happened on Feb. 17 in Salem and Epping and was reported to police the following day.

Tuttle is charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault by use of force, two counts of simple assault, and a second-degree assault charge for strangulation.

North Andover Public Schools said it could not disclose "specific information about a juvenile," but was cooperating with investigators.

"Apart from any formal criminal or delinquency proceedings, the school district takes appropriate measures to ensure the safety of any alleged victim and all members of the school community," the district said in a statement.

Tuttle is being held at Rockingham County Jail. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
