Patriots Rule 3 Players Out for Monday Night in Buffalo

The Patriots have ruled three more players out of tomorrow's Monday Night Football game vs. the Buffalo Bills.

Running back Sony Michel, offensive tackle Marcus Cannon and defensive lineman Geneo Grissom won't be making the trip to Orchard Park, N.Y. as New England (5-2) takes on Buffalo (2-5).

Michel was listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report, while Cannon and Grissom were listed as questionable. The trio joins tight end Jacob Hollister, cornerback Eric Rowe and offensive lineman Brian Schwenke as players the Patriots have already ruled out of the game.

Six other New England players remain listed as questionable, including tight end Rob Gronkowski, wide receiver Josh Gordon, linebacker Dont'a Hightower, offensive tackle Trent Brown, and defensive ends Deatrich Wise Jr. and John Simon.

Gronkowski didn't play in the Patriots' Week 7 game vs. the Chicago Bears after turning up on the injury report with a back injury to go along with an ankle that's been bothering him all season. He is a native of the Buffalo area.

Michel hurt his knee in last week's game, and while he appears to have avoided any further long-term damage to his knee, the expectation is that he could miss a few games for New England.
