A person was hit and killed by a train Wednesday in Waltham, Massachusetts.
MBTA Transit Police confirm that a train hit a male on the outbound tracks Fitchburg Line tracks at the Brandeis/Roberts stop. The victim died from his injuries.
Foul play is not suspected, transit police said.
The MBTA Commuter Rail reported significant delays in both directions of the Fitchburg Line due to police activity.
