A man is dead Thursday night after being shot in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood.
Police say the victim was shot at 1651 Blue Hill Ave. shortly before 9 p.m.
The victim, identified Friday as 27-year-old Juanquis Hicks of Hyde Park, was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead, according to police.
