Police: 7-Year-Old Girl Finds Thief Sleeping in Minivan

A Massachusetts man is facing charges after a child allegedly found him asleep in a minivan with stolen items.

Thirty-year-old Paul Johnson of South Attleboro was arrested Friday morning after Attleboro police say a 7-year-old girl went out to her family's minivan to go to school -- and found him sleeping in the backseat.

Johnson was woken up by police, and the car's owner tells the Attleboro Sun that as they sorted through Johnson's items, they found things that belonged to neighbors and some of the car owner's credit cards.

The suspect was charged with breaking and entering, credit card larceny, larceny over $250 and trespassing. He's due to be arraigned on Tuesday, but it's unclear whether he has an attorney.
