Police: CT Man Visiting Cape Cod Charged With Lewd Behavior

A man who is charged with exposing himself to women on Cape Cod's Route 28 has been arrested by police. 

Wayne Imperati, Jr., 41, was arrested by police in Yarmouth on Saturday around 8:40 a.m. He was charged with assault and battery, solicitation for prostitution and open and gross lewdness.

Imperati, a Cheshire, Connecticut resident, was held in jail on a $1,000 cash bond. He was released after bond was paid, and is due in Barnstable District Court on Monday morning at 9 a.m.

Police believe that he has been in the Mid-Cape area for the past few days and may have committed similar acts.
