Man, Woman Dead After Stabbing in Montville, Suspect in Custody

Police said they are investigating the case as a homicide.

A man and a woman have died after a stabbing in Montville early Monday morning and state police said they have a suspect in the homicide in custody.

Police said officers responded to a home on Morgan Street around 4:45 a.m. after getting a report of two bodies and found a man and woman dead inside.

Connecticut State Police also responded to the scene, along with the Eastern District Major Crime Unit.

2 Dead After Stabbing in Montville

On Tuesday, police said they have arrested 18-year-old Marcus Fisher, of Uncasville, and charged him with two counts of murder. one count of murder with special circumstances and one count of arson in the second degree.

Police have not released the names of the victims, nor did they reveal any relationship between the victims and the suspect.

Police believe this is an isolated incident and said there is no threat to the public.

Autopsies will be conducted on both victims on Tuesday, police said.
