Prominent Mass. Psychiatrist Accused of Sexually Exploiting Patients

Celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow is facing allegations that he sexually exploited patients

A prominent psychiatrist based in Massachusetts is denying allegations that he sexually exploited patients.

Celebrity doctor Keith Ablow is being sued by three women for allegedly luring them into having degrading, humiliating sex. The lawsuits allege the sexual activity occurred at different points with each of the women between 2011 and 2018.

Ablow practices psychiatry in Newburyport. Each of the women were patients with strong depression. They claim Ablow engaged in sexual conduct that included physical trauma and submission, that he used them for personal gratification and rewarded sexual conversation with free-of-charge sessions.

Ablow is also an author and has been a contributor to the New York Post and Fox News.

"Categorically, completely deny the allegations lodged against me," he tweeted Thursday. "I look forward to the court proceedings and will continue to offer excellent care to any patient who needs my help."

Ablow's tweet mirrors the statement from his attorney, Bernard Guekguezian.

"We have not seen the complaints or any documentation that accompanies them," Guekgezian said in the statement. "Dr. Ablow has been a respected and highly regarded psychiatrist who has for decades helped countless patients. He denies any and all allegations of improper behavior or substandard care in their entirety."
