Report: Patriots Sign Jordan Matthews

The Patriots are signing wide receiver Jordan Matthews, according to a report.

In a tweet Thursday evening, ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that New England is signing the former Bills player to a one-year deal, acording to a source.

Matthews, who is 6'3, had just 25 receptions, 282 yards and 1 touchdown last season in Buffalo, however he was dealing with a thumb and knee injury. The former Vanderbilt standout is reportedly healthy now.

This move comes two days after the Patriots traded wide receiver Brandin Cooks to the Rams.

Both Matthews and Cooks are from the 2014 draft class.
